April 11, 2019 - StanD will be presented at an API Wellness Summit.  The cast will feature Chris alongside Cesar Cipriano, Denise Devilla, Lora Bofill, Cedric Ikaika Jonathan and Marcel Licera.

 

March 2, 2019 - StanD is presented at an Asian and Pacific Islander Youth & Family: Bridging the Gaps conference at Western High School in Anaheim, CA featuring Chris alongside John Nguyen, Enelyn Villar, Hong Le, Jan Redondo and Joe Casas.

February 24, 2018 - StanD will be presented in a workshop style format at the Filipino Well Being Training Summit at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels in Downtown, Los Angeles.

December 9, 2017 - Chris appears in an event called "Sorority" where they play a romantically obsessed individual in a new play called "Lovesick" written by Savannah Dooley (CMT's NASHVILLE)

 

November 29, 2017 - Chris gets chosen to be an actor for the 'Breakthrough Reading Series' hosted by Teresa Huang (CBS' WISDOM OF THE CROWD)

 

November 19, 2017 - Chris and Ryan Connolly's film "The Hierarchy of Needs" premieres at the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival in a series of short films called "Sex Sells."

 

October 7, 2017 - Chris and Lesley Asistio conduct an event called "Other Voices, Our Voices" at The Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights' Dramapalooza.  All the writers had such a great time writing monologues for actors within a 2-hour time frame.  The actors performed the monologues in front of an invited audience and had a great affect on people due to the theme: "Other." 

 

September, 2017 - The Skylight Theatre in Los Feliz, California asked Chris to be an associate producer on a project called ROTTERDAM.  The play has been having rave reviews and has been extended to December 31st, 2017.

August, 2017 - Chris attended Perfecting the Short Play: Flash Plays, Ten-Minute Plays, and One-Acts class at EastWest Players, instructed by Prince Gomolvilas. 

 

July 22, 2017 - Chris' mental illness play "StanD" will participate in the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles' Filipino Family Wellness: Community Conversations Conference. featuring Allen Lucky Weaver, Cesar Cipriano, Bonita Pastor-Muncal, Anna Quirino-Miranda, Jaime Barcelon, and Bert Matias.  Directed by Arash Aiinehsazian and Nikki Osbon as Assistant Director.

 

July 14, 2017 - "BICULTURAL" A film by Rachel Leyco premieres at the Los Angeles OUTFest Film Festival.  Chris plays Angelo.

June 17, 2017 - Chris' play "RELAX" was chosen to be shown at the 9th Annual Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights' (ALAP) City of West Hollywood Pride Playreading Festival.  Their play featured Katie May Porter, Carolyn McDermott and Arash Aiinehsazian.  Directed by Kiff Scholl.

 

June 1, 2017 - "BICULTURAL" premieres at the Houston Asian American Pacific Islander Film Festival.

 

May 27, 2017 - Leading a tutorial at Northwood High School in Irvine for their mental health day where they'll tell their story, share a scene from the play 'StanD' and conduct a post-scene discussion on mental illness

 

May 17, 2017 - Appearing on 'Kababayan Today' with G Tongi to share scenes from 'StanD' and to talk about their initiative in mental health advocacy

 

April 29, 2017 - Finished the "Writing is Rewriting New Play Development Workshop" at EastWest Players where they continued developing their first full-length play called "StanD" - First invited public reading from April 22, 2017 is in video below.

February 4, 2017 - Chris' new play "Out the Door" premieres at Camino Real Playhouse during the 8th Annual 24-Hour Creative Event.

 

December 16, 2016 - Completed writing a play called "Care" which is having a private reading in January 2017.

October 16, 2016 - Filmed their first official Filipino-American role named Angelo for the short film BICULTURAL, written & directed by Rachel Leyco, produced by Mindful Pictures for submission into the HBO Asian Pacific America Visionaries Competition

October 14, 2016 - Performed as "Hope" to support the Vietnamese Rainbow of Orange County.  Video below.
